Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2006-09-29 Easy to follow, works a treat
I picked this book up in mid-August when I weighed 15 st 10 lbs (size 40), and without feeling hungry once I'm now down to 14 st 4lbs (size 34), and it's 27 September. The thing that makes this book work is the emphasis on combining a low GI diet (with food portions in the correct proportions from the "food pyramid") with an exercise regime. We aren't stupid, so it wins the argument by presenting its clear advice with the facts you need to understand how your body works and how to work with it to lose weight in a healthy way. It is all too easy to fall into the trap of thinking that being way overweight is something outside your immediate control, but this demolishes that negativity rapidly and painlessly. If Rene Zwelliger can do it, so can you!similar books
