2003-01-01 Cooking for Kids

My daughter and I love this book. The recipes are well written - informative without being patronising. The beginning includes general information about cooking - making it a good reference for kids. We have had good results from everything we've tried and my daughter (8) has made some of the puddings supervised, but unaided. The only downside is that the recipes have fun titles (eg. meringues are called yum yum egg whites) - these are often amusing but means that the index is less helpful than it could be!
