2007-02-25 A pacy, intelligent read

It's months after a controversial acquittal and the jurors responsible are being hunted down by a serial killer calling himself "The Reaper". The three remaining jurors have seemingly dropped out of existence, but this doesn't stop New York DJ Ian Zachary from playing what he calls "The Game". With the help of his listeners the missing jurors will soon have nowhere left to hide.

This is the first book by Carol O'Connell that I have read and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the wit and intelligence that flows through her writing. The cast of characters are well defined and more than just puppets for the storyteller. Kathy Mallory is definitely a memorable heroine - it's not everyday that you meet a sociopath working for New York's finest.
