2007-08-06 None the worse for being diffferent
I picked this up as a light holiday read and unlike some of the reviewers loved it. I thought he dealt with the passing of time, the wasting of potential and the souring of youthful dreams in a brilliant way. I thought there was a definite ending in that some sort of redemption occured.I loved it and would recommend it to anyone who likes sports novels.
