Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2002-06-18 very good
I think that although this book deserves 5 stars it is not one of Tamora pierce's best books. It does not seem to have as much plot as the others and with Alanna's greatest enemy dead and gone she has no one to hate. Enough bad points though-the book.Newly knighted, 'Sir'Alanna and her friend/protector Coram are travelling the world in search of adventure. Alanna's greatest enemy Duke Roger is dead and there is nothing for her to woory about. Until, that is , she meets a Bazhir tribe who take her prisoner. After she has proved that she can fight as well as any man she is adopted by them and becomes 'The Woman Who Rides Like A Man' of her tribe. Then the local shaman or mage challenges her to a magic fight. He uses more of his power than he should, and therefore dies, leaving Alanna to become the shaman of the tribe. There she takes on three apprentices-two girls and a boy. The boy is ver confident, the girls less so, but maybe the boy is overconfident. Then, Prince Jon and Sir Myles arrive both with surprising news for Alanna-especially Sir Myles. Alanna has to sort out whether she loves Prince Jon enough to become his wife-a very tough decision as Alanna finds out.
I won't say any more or I will spoil the whole book. As I said, definately worth reading, but the other three are (slightly) better. Enjoy
