As a postgraduate AI student, this book was recommended reading in one of the modules, but I have to say it is not the right book if you want to get into the nuts and bolts of decision support systems. The book presents page upon page of non-specific examples and product advertisement through case-studies. Save your money and get a statistics/data analysis textbook instead.
