2007-09-27 A great introduction that's easy to read

Kitto's book on the Ancient Greeks is a great introduction for anyone wanting to gain an insight into evry aspect of Classical Greece. He writes in a way that is easy to follow and understand, with occasional humour, and is very accurate with the info he provides. I brought this book before my new module started at Uni, and I felt very confident about the Greeks after finishing his book. Highly recommended!
