2006-06-06 A good, if not solid, read!
Working in the financial world I have always enjoyed Michael Ridpath's books which have always set a very familiar setting. In his latest book the financial angle is far less prominent - so for people like me who have always liked the 'financial' edge to his books 'See No Evil' could be a bit dissapointing. However, despite the above, the plot is well thought out and the book reads well. Where I will give the author 10/10 is the acurracy with which he depicts South Africa - both past and present (the story is set in London and South Africa). As a South African I can attest to the aforementioned and was so impressed in this regard.
