2008-05-03 Blackstones: Police Operational Handbook

This has to be one of the best purchases of my entire police career. I was contemplating waiting until the new edition was released (November 2008 I think) considering the rate that legislation and codes of practice are revised, but am very glad I made the purchase now. The second edition has been fully updated and is written in a short and 'to the point' style quickly highlighting the information a patrol officer would need. It is compact and fairly light-weight so again it gets 5 stars. Highly recomended to any current/trainee PC. This would be especially helpful to new PC's going through their initial training due to the short and concise manner in which it is written. It is an ideal revision aid.
