I found this book little more than useless. It is NOT 'a Developer's Guide to TAPI' as the sub-title claims, but a guide to TFX, the author's own TAPI wrap-around.

TAPI is generic, but this book is focussed on C++, being the language used by TFX, therefore anyone wishing to develop TAPI programs on other platforms should not buy this book. I was looking for something that would explain TAPI in simpler terms than the Microsoft SDK, but this book failed abysmally, and, so far I have found nothing better than the SDK.
