2008-02-29 Book three of an OK Lynne Graham trilogy...SPOILER
Again, as I'm finding with recent LG books, it's ok but not a keeper. And the title is a misnomer, as Kathy is not a pregant bride - her child is a few weeks old when she marries Sergio.Surprisingly, Sergio is a more likeable male lead than his buddies from the previous 2 books in the trilogy, but yet again, it's the sterotypical LG storyline of handsome, rich, talented, spoilt arrogant male lead and poor, hard-done-by, ravishingly beautiful but impoverished female lead who succumbs to the male lead's passion and virility, invariably ending up pregnant and in need of him. However, Kathy is an even stronger female lead than Maribel from the previous book, and with a lot more backbone, and all ends well. I think that the main problem with Harlequin/Mills and Boon is that 186 pages is their average length for a novel, and so much happens so soon that it can be so out of touch with reality as to be laughable - as opposed to believably romantic. Hey, overall it was a good book, but a read-and-sell-on-to-afford-the-next-one for me.
