Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

Danger and desire collide...When FBI agent Garon Grier sets up home in Texas, the strong, silent loner is hoping for a quiet life. He's certainly not looking for love when he meets Grace Carver, a lovely young woman unmarried and untouched because of a past darkened by tragedy. Then Garon has to tackle the most difficult case of his career, hunting an escaped convict, a child predator whose former victims are all dead. All except one. Now a desperate lawman and a proud woman must decide if secrets will come between them forever...or free them to love at last.

2008-02-26 "Disappointing"
I normally enjoy DP books, but this one I would have been happy to miss, the so called lead man, Garon, in my view is most unlikeable, arrogant
and thinks only what suits him, and as for Grace she is so pathetically
pleased to have some man interested in her, she looses all sense of pride. As for the sub plot of child murders, come on, it was so obvious
who the murderer was that I could not see how these so called intelligent
officers of the law could not see it! Alright so at the end of the book
Garon realises his mistakes but by then if it had been me, I would have
told him to go take a hike, but then that is what happy endings are
supposed to do, bring the two lovebirds together, yer right!
