2008-10-06 Waste of my time- NOT FUNNY!
This book tells the "biography" of DEATH, thus treating Death as a real character. It tries to be smart and glib. It fails. Instead it is grating and unfunny. Other books have used Death as a real character, going back to the days of "Death Takes a Holiday." Even the worst of those succeeds more than this does. Pendle is just not a funny writer; his attempts at jokes fall FAR from the mark.similar books
