2008-04-03 An excellent .net reference book

This book is really well written and explains Windows forms in C# extremely well. The introduction goes through a brief overview of what is provided by the .net forms libraries which gets you going quickly. The detail then follows in subsequent chapters. Plenty of real examples are provided.
Books like this often are very big but when you get into them they tend to skim across the surface showing how to do things with the Visual Studio UI rather than getting into the detail of the programming. This book is not like that and has some real substance to it. Highly recommended.
