When a passenger craft goes down near Cuba, is it an accident, a terrorist incident, or an attack by Castro's regime? Robert McCabe, Washington journalist, has received an enigmatic message from a just-murdered friend, which suggests a lethal conspiracy is in motion.
2005-06-12 One of the best I've ever read.
What a book! I immensely enjoyed this novel and I'll tell you why: because I love action oriented books and this book had a great plot, massive tension and suspense, and the ability to keep everything flowing and unpredictable; which is hard when you're on a plane for half the novel. I think the weapon used by the terrorists was an interesting conception and one that could actually exist! The way that the people on the plane come together to help the ailing pilot is also a highlight, because he captures the terrifying experience of a ailing pilot brilliantly, but also captures the never-say-die attitude of the people who desperately try to help out. If you're looking for a good read that keeps you enthralled the entire length of the book, then look no farther. Nance is one of my favourite authors because I like his style of writing. He never bores you with the dialogue and his storytelling is superb. Plus the part on page 487 isn't just scary, it's downright uncanny! Brilliant book.similar books
