Fully revised and updated, this is a core introductory text for A Level and undergraduate psychology courses. The third edition offers a variety of additional features to improve user-friendliness, including chapter overviews and summaries, more illustrations, more applied material and a quick-reference glossary. It covers topics such as motivation, emotion and stress, and learning.
2000-11-24 Useful for A'level?
This book is very interesting and can be useful for a course textbook, or as extra background reading. It has lots of detail to help 'spice' up essays, as well as basic descriptions to give a general understanding. However, I should mention that the chapters and sections are not laid out in the same chapters etc of most A'level syllabus' and so it is probably not the ebst book for quick reference. Overall though, I'd say its a good introduction to Psychology for any level of student.similar books
