Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

This text has been written to complement "Higher Grade Human Biology" by the same writing team. The book matches the contents and requirements of the syllabus very closely, with examination-style multiple choice questions and matching exercises which are useful as "checking you knowledge tests" and provide a useful glossary once complete. Two specimen papers offer full scale test practice.

Jim Torrance and the members of his team are all practising Biology teachers with many years' experience in Scottish schools. They began writing Biology textbooks in 1978.
2008-02-23 Pointless. Simple as that.
This book comes with a BLANK answer grid. This makes the book completely useless for actually doing what a question book is for, which is enabling you the student to find out how much you know without looking every single answer up in various textbooks (If you're going to do that, you might as well just skip this book and read your regular textbooks).True enough, one could ask a teacher to mark ones work, but when you're completing 60-100 questions at at time it's going to take a more generous teacher than mine to mark your work for you.
Therefore this book is a complete waste of money, and despite the fact that there appears to be no other question based book for Higher Human Biology I'd say don't bother. It's a real shame too, because the questions themselves are good questions, but I'd reccomend people skip this book as it simply doesn't do what anyone who's buying it needs it to do, which is provide questions that a student can do and then answers for the student to find out how they're getting on.
