2007-10-01 I love it
I'm an Elizabeth Peters fan. I feel the need to write that at the beginning as I think you either love or hate her books with no room for "quite liking". I've read this several times but always with a couple of years in between so that I forget many of the details. I've just re-read it and I found it thoroughly enjoyable - AGAIN. The plot is clever and I found myself wondering over and over who the real villain (s) would turn out to be. The 1960s setting is believable and yet doesn't feel too outdated, given the ongoing issues with drugs... Very enjoyable easy read.similar books
