2002-03-14 It is like Paint by Numbers...

I can't draw, hence I bought the book. It is a good book, but you draw abstract lines and then keep adding more lines which eventually compiles the picture.

It is like Paint by Numbers, you copy the lines the stages, but for me it isn't really drawing or learning to draw but copy, which you could do using tracing paper.

I must confess I am a little disappointed. After the introduction, there are no instructions only illustrations in stages.

The stages are good, but are like as I said earlier abstract. you put a line here and a line there... Which for an inexperienced artist is most of the battle is getting the perspective right.

I would say it is for a non-beginner, it has a good variety of flowers/trees etc... In general is a good book.
