2007-09-01 Not very convincing.

This was a very quick, easy read. Dialogue was entertaining, though it owed more to the 20th century than the 19th! I'm not sure that cowboys (even in Brokeback Mountain) would mention hair colour when introducing their male friends - "Big blond fella here is my deputy".
It was an enjoyable enough read, but I won't be rushing to read any more Western's by Parker.
