2008-05-06 Good old-fashioned romance

Two different novels in one package. Good story-lines. In Fortune Hunter, the heroine of the story is exceedingly beautiful but not comfortable with her beauty so tries to tone it down by dressing in plain/dull clothes. She needs to get married to a rich man who would be able to uplift the family financially. She meets Harry but he is too young and not rich enough. She then takes her quest to a London season where she meets Sir Cedric, an older and rich banker. She knows she can get to love him. Then she meets Harry again.
In Deidre and Don Juan story, the dashing Earl of Everdon, married young and for love, but his beautiful wife ran off with another. Now newly widowed, he needs to marry and produce an heir, but this time he'll choose a woman no other man will want.
