The book is greatly valuable as an introduction to project financing and its basic concepts. In particular I found extremely interesting the case section. I would recommend it for a University or a graduate course. However, I agree with the other reviewer, Hoffman's book is an extremely valuable tool for a person actually doing deals, on whichever side she is (i.e. government, sponsor, consultant).
