2004-03-03 Review

Be careful using this book if you are also using other statistics books. This book gives some different symbols and the z-scores are slightly different. Beware that some of the questions can be frustrating because it may not tell in the book exactly how to do it, i.e in the large sample problem section, they give you a problem to solve using a small sample. You have to use the graph on the preceding page, but it doesn't even hint that you would need to use the computer generated graph and not a formula. I've been told by three mathematicians, that this is one of the worst books.
