2001-12-30 Reginald Scot's confutation of witchcraft in his era
Although the main topic of the book is Scot's opinion that witches and warlocks of the time were not able to perform the miracles that were perported to them, he does go into explicit detail about how the supposed miracles were performed. With some good examples of lyricry, latin and illustration, Scot attempts to prove that the witch hunts and trials of the era were unwarranted. An excellent reference or source book to refer to when comparing more modern material.similar books
