2001-06-04 A brilliant collection of North American based designs
This book captures the very essence of North American wildlife. The best designs are the bison, which John Montroll uses a clever method to shape the top of the back, and to make it 3D, and in my opinion, a very lifelike cactus which if folded correctly stands easily and is rounded. Other highlights are the multi-antlered deer and moose, very similar designs, and the Musk Ox - so complex, I am still trying to master it! - It definitely needs a large piece of paper to make. The book is definately for the advanced folder , but one criricism would be Montroll's lack of detail in the faces of some animals designs - although it may be just a preference thing.similar books
