This book has beautiful photography, informative prose and a fine representation of "Scottish Country." I was pleased to find not only elegant manor houses but a converted black house as well. There is a good mix of interiors and informative chapters dealing with such diverse subjects as pottery, tartan fabric, doocots and shooting.I have paged through my copy hundreds of times and always find something that I never noticed before. This book is a wonderful tool to introduce family and friends to a land I have grown to love and a warm reminder to me of happy times in "Scottish Country."
