2008-03-31 completely absorbing

Another excellent page turner, I became immersed in the world of Jennie and Martha from the first words. Almost tiring to read because of my level of involvement in the story. Highly topical, up to date and filled with the issues of today's life for families in similar circumstances, laced with the extra zest of the 'illness' also described so wonderfully well in Enduring Love by Ian McKewan. However at the end there is a puzzle and you are left with a decision to make. Not that it really matters which it was.....
