Thinking Of You - The Ultimate Escapist ReadJill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2008-08-11 A tedious read.
when this series first started many many years ago, it was enthralling. we were introduced to Cassie in "stealing shadows" & Miranda now Bishop's wife in "out of the shadows". these were the beginning of the Bishop paranormal series, and some were very good, but i feel that the last couple have just become a bore.
In "blood dreams",i thought the characters were just plain boring, these people are supposed to have the best paranormal abilities on earth, yet in this book, no-one can quite get their act together. some characters were just a waste of time & some were just not played out enough.
And overall, the storyline of this serial killer always getting away is just plain annoying, - this special crimes unit are not really that special any more are they! - they've been after this guy for ages & i quite frankly am sick & tired of him.
Can we please get back to the way this series started out, with a good fashioned thriller, with the added element of the spooky please.similar books
