I was once fortunate enough to attend a short leadership academy being run by David Taylor. The work covered in that academy changed my whole approach to leadership and management. It made me more focussed on two things the ability to inspire and motivate. It also provided an eye-opening insight into how to achieve both, simply by considering ones own desired reality, mapping a route to achieving it and once content helping others (your staff and collegues) to do the same. The course was quite simpliy - inspirational and life changing. When I scanned the book shelves at London Kings Cross and saw this book with David's name on it I had to buy a copy. Before my rail journey was over I had read the book from cover to cover and rekindled many of the feelings that had been developed during David's academy. Some people may find the spiritual references hard to cope with at first, but if one opens ones mind to these ideas and ponders on the messages - the rewards will be immense. The material contained within the book has woked for me over and over again. The style is a combination of other texts that have obviously influenced David. Work by Anthony Robbins, Adrian Gilpin and 'Shooting the Monkey". It is well written, easy to read and makes an excellent reference book. Try it, you have nothing to lose and a great deal to gain.
