2002-12-04 The Lost Highway

(Bill Pullman), who plays Fred Madison, is a musician, whos married to Renee Madison (Patricia Arquette), At the start of the film Fred gets a knock at his door, and when he goes to the intecom, a vioce tells Fred that Dick Laurent is dead. After this Fred's life takes a strange twist, which later leads to Fred being arrested for the murder of his wife, but the next morning Fred madison has disappeared, and in his place there is a young man called Pete Dayton, who is a mechanic, who works for Mr Eddy a local ganster, the police let him go as they can't hold him as he hasn't done anything, Later on Pete, falls for a woman called Alice wakefield, who is with Mr Eddy. Alice leads Pete astray and gets him to do things for her. Which could get him into serious trouble. Later on at the end of the book Pete turns back into Fred Maidson, and the two lives come together.
The book, is excellent to read, you can really just lose your self , while reading it. It's a very powerfull book, which you have to take work it out your self as the plot gives nothing away, so you have to use your mind alot.

Overall this is one of the best books i have read in a long time, (also if you like Marilyn Manson, look out for his appereance towards the end).....
