2006-03-20 good chord melody framework

Yelin's books are good for showing substitutions you can use when playing this style. I use these arrangements as basic building blocks which i then add/change to suit my own playing. More block chords than counterpoint, not really any bass lines, but you can add those in your own arrangements. No cd which is a shame. Some nice voicings and will definitely improve the beginner/intermediate player.
