OK so I am not THE author, but I am one of the contributors
It is always fun to read your own work in print. As an author I have found that having my work published in an anthology with other great humorous poets is equally fun and exciting. Some of the authors are legendery. Others like myself strive for that status. The bottom line here is that this book is a riot from cover to cover. I would have recommended it to people even if my name weren't listed in the table of contents.

2005-04-11 One of the best books to get kids interested in reading!

I have 2 teenage daughters, both with different interests in reading. My youngest has always *hated* reading and writing, but she knows this book from cover to cover! I first got the book for my oldest daughter when she was about 8 and my other daughter was 5. She would read it to my younger daughter over and over. The little one would sneak the book out of her room and show it to everyone. She even asked Santa to give her a better copy for herself. Now they both have a copy. Some of the poems were a challenge for her to understand so she would ask me about them and we would talk for long periods of time. It is a great book to share quality time and really have some fun with your children! They still get the books out when they have new friends over and laugh for hours. I would also recomend a book called "Stinky Cheese Man" (not sure of author or publisher though).
