Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2006-06-08 better than the hype
to look at the amount of reviews & overall scores you'd think that mr.koontz never misses,in fairness this is the case with most popular writers but too often its hype.not so with this one, the DEA do indeed have the power described in this novel.the way the protagonists lives are ripped out from under them is chillingly believable and this helps to rack up the tension. there is fine attention to detail that far from slowing things down simply adds to the reality of the story, though its the collection of characters here that keep things on the boil, even in his weakest efforts koonts' ability to paint a believable psychopath is always top notch and that's especially true here.
If you're new to his works and have only read the last few of his works you may have been wondering what all the fuss was about, well add this beauty to your basket & wonder no more,he's at the top of his game here.
