Now, without Joren to bully her, she turns her mind to other fears. She worries about if someone would want a girl for a squire and, 4 years in the future, the terrible Chamber of Ordeal....

This is a brilliant book, but then I love all of Tamora Pierce's books. To get the best out of this you have to read 'First Test' and 'Page'. Although some people think that you have to read the 'Lioness' quartet and the 'Immortals' quartet first, I went straight into reading this quartet and I enjoyed it just as much.
