Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2005-03-14 Lioness Rampant
The final installment of the series "Song of the Lioness" is as well written as the other three installments. In "Lioness Rampant" Alanna's role in saving Tortall becomes evident. She goes on a quest for the Dominion Jewel (said to have immense powers for the wielder). With her goes Liam the Shang Dragon and Thayet (previous princess of Sarain) with her body guard Biri. Coram, of course, is along for the ride as well.
While Alanna seeks the Dominion Jewel, all is not well back in the capital of Corus. Thom has brought Comte Roger alive again and Roger is as usual up to no good. George is not having an easy time of it either, as Claw is still fighting dirty for the throne of the Rougue.
I'm not certain I enjoyed this book as much as the other three. Some of the depth of the characters seemed to be lost, or perhaps I was just ready to be finished with the series. All in all this was a good conclusion to an enjoyable series.
