2008-05-19 Beginner's choice
As an experienced embroiderer/textile artist, I bought this book for inspiration as I was very tempted by the illustration on the front. However, I felt that the book didn't live up to the promise of its cover, as it is very basic, with not very much inspiration at all; experienced embroiderers may be disappointed with the book. That said, there is nothing wrong with this book - it is absolutely ideal for a beginner who would like to progress from basic embroidery to something more adventurous. The book is well illustrated, with clear, basic instructions. Those requiring a little help with new techniques would probably find this book very helpful.
