2002-05-01 Tout droit!: Tres bien!

This book, and it's Spanish equivalent Sigue! 1, are excellent. They provide an innovative and fun approach to learning languages at AS level. The exercises in the Tout droit! book are captivating and teach the student not only to speak, read, write and understand the French language, but also broaden the student's base of knowledge about France and French culture, and the differences between the ways of life in France and in the UK. The subsections 'Coin accent' (which teaches the student how to pronounce French words) and 'Coin infos' (which give extra information on a variety of topics) are very helpful and have definately improved my pronunciation and understanding. I can say with complete honesty that I have enjoyed using Tout droit! over the past year, and would throughly recommend it.
