2004-02-17 If I had of known... I wouldn't have bought it!

I flicked open the book and within the first few pages it had been shut again... I've seen junk before and I recognise it right away. Anyway, To be fair I did give it another try... I read more of the Pyramid scheme style 'True Stories', Looked at the pathetic 'mystical' amd 'Life improving' diagrams and then laughed at myself for buying this 230 page coffe mat!

This book is typical of the American consumer quick-fix attitude, The cover totally glosses over what is actually inside... Ancient Omens, Talismans, Amulets? Ha! The closest thing in this book seems to be shouting "Abracadabra" as you boil your favourite Ring in salty water!
The rear cover is just as bad ... "Discover the secrets to blah blah blah through the power of wicca." Wicca? It's hardly mentioned... If at all, and it gets worse... The whold description of the book is a lie. There's nothing magic in this book, The only magic here is the way my money vanished out my wallet!

All in all, this book is as bad as all those Chain letters and pyramid schemes floating around... Don't be a sucker, stay away!

If you want real book on Amulets and Talismans... I suggest you look elsewhere.

On the Plus side... It has a pretty cover! Which we all know, especially in this case, you shouldn't judge a book by!
