2007-03-16 A great find
I stumbled upon "Land of Echoes" while searching my local library for something new and interesting. I found both in this book.Daniel Hecht's writing flows easily and he manages this without any seeming effort, making it a pleasure to read. His main character, Dr Cree Black, is well-developed and is supported by a cast of equally three-dimensional characters.
You will find yourself engrossed in this story of the apparent possession of a Native American teenage boy. The situation is frightening because it is portrayed in such a real manner. Daniel Hecht creates a world that is both familiar and strangely alien. And you will thank him for it.
