2007-05-09 Patient Elephant by David Taylor
I must admit I am a great David Taylor fan. I have all of his autobiography books and quite a few of his other animal books.For me David Taylor is a hero. Someone who can conciously commit his life to caring for animals in zoos, safari parks and circuses and face ridicule and the possibility of a very hard life is someone to be admired.
The Patient Elephant is funny, sad and uncomfortable in turn, but it does show just how hard Dr Taylor's life is.
