2001-11-28 I wish I'd read this book earlier, instead of worrying alone

A concise, easy to read, summary of the reasons behind infertility, with informative summaries of the treatments available. The various steps involved in treatment are explored, from early investigations through various forms of drugs, to treatments such as IVF. At all times the book is easy to follow and answers basic questions - for me personally, it has helped in understanding some of the medical jargon and equipped me for discussions with doctors.

However, this is more than a text book - throughout the book there are quotes and stories from other people who have coped with infertility and its treatments - the message is that there are lots of other people who've been down this road, many of them successfully.

This is a book I have already read many times, for the information I need, but also the hope it is able to offer.
