This book gives the reader an all round look at the subject of drug metabolism, giving information that spans from the basic concepts right down to very in-depth knowledge of this area. This format means that it is possible to enter into the subject as much as you want to and gain as much knowledge as you require. The authors have given good diagrammatical explanations to support their text which helps the reader to grasp the concept of the particular area in question. Each chapter is subdivided into areas that relate to the original chapter title in a way that is easy to read and digest. At the end of each chapter, there is a comprehensive list of further reading material should the reader wish to probe further. As a Pharmacology graduate, this book was pivotal in my understanding of drug metabolism.This book is a must for Pharmacology, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine students and would be an interesting read for other readers alike.
