Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2008-07-28 life story
I have just fnished reading this book and it mirrors a lot of my life. Reading this book was like reliving my life. I would like to say to the author "well done" for having the guts to put her "stepfather" away for what he has done to her and being able to share her life through this book. It seems hard to believe that a mother cannot know what is going on under her nose but i know it happens and a lot of people wonder why the child doesn't say something but when your such a young child you believe everything you are told so when the abuser tells you that he/she will kill your mum, grandparents, and anybody else you care about you do believe them and you keep the secret locked up inside. This book is really heartbreaking and will have you in tears but Sharons story needs to be told and If It were up to me i would make it law that social workers read these types of books, maybe then a lot of them wouldn't make so many mistakes when dealing with children who are at risk. I would like to wish Sharon well for her future.similar books
