Each cheese is described in detail by country of origin,with information about method of manufacture,seasonal availability,colour, texture and taste etc. There are excellent photographs of most of the cheeses and a recipe section with ingredients and photographs of about 100 recipes. This is a definitive book on cheese and is well worth buying as a good reference book.It does not however cover the cheeses made by small local artisanal cheese makers for their own use or local sales.
