Abis life became a relentless round of PA's and photoshoots. I know she was trying to emphasise this but unfortunately it doesn't make for very interesting reading. Ego pours from the page. Her(infrequent)attempts at humility just seem phoney. Only the last couple of chapters delve a little deeper into the effects of fame and its frustrating this isn't explored for longer. I do think this could have been an interesting peek into the world of media and celebrity and perhaps if Abi had written it herself (I'm sure she could she seems a lot more intelligent than most of the slebs on the circuit) the book would have been a lot less bland and patronising. On the plus side she names and shames and there were a few snarky comments about other people in the public eye.similar books
