This book was an absolute life saver for me. I am a student nurse who never paid much attention to biologly at school (a few years ago now). So after much struggling and soulsearching I found this book. It has helped me greatly, it explains everything in really simplistic terms without all the jargon. It goes quite indepth and now I understand the basics I am sailing ahead through the course. It is a very useful study guide and would recommend it to anyone who has difficulty getting to grips with the basic anatomy.
