2006-07-30 A total revelation
I have never put these words in a review before, and don't anticipate that I will do so again any time soon - but this book will change your life.Dozier's explanation of the neurophysiological process of hating and how this contributes to the behaviour of both individuals and groups is enlightening and terrifying at the same time. If you are searching for explanations for behaviours on the personal and global scales that you don't understand read this book. At the same time, be prepared for finding motivations in your own thoughts and actions that make you uncomfortable and that you will want to change. To describe this book as revelatory doesn't do it justice. You will still be thinking about it, and challenging yourself to think differently years later.
