Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

"One of the best general immunology textbooks available... This book clearly sets a new standard, and should not be missed by anyone interested in the subject."
"This book clearly sets a new standard, and should not be missed by anyone interested in the subject"
Of previous editions:
"Treats the subject of immunology with freshness and vigor and enthusiasm ... Abundantly illustrated... As up to date as a textbook can be ... clearly written and complete."
"Immunobiology," Sixth Edition guides the reader through the immune system in all its aspects - from the first engagement of innate immunity to the generation of the adaptive immune response and its clinical consequences. The Sixth Edition has been thoroughly revised and updated, and now includes end-of-chapter questions. "Immunobiology "sets the standard for currency and authority with its clear writing style and organization, full-color art program, scientific accuracy, frequent updates, and consistent viewpoint - that of the host's interaction with an environment containing many species of potentially harmful microorganisms.
This introductory text/CD-ROM is intended for use in immunology courses for medical students, advanced undergraduate biology students, graduate students, and scientists in other fields. The text presents immunology from the perspective of the host's interaction with an environment that contains harmful microbes. This sixth edition contains chapter

2007-11-19 Repetitive and confusing
I do not recommend this book. The figures are great but the text is very frustrating. The subjects are spread out over several chapters which is confusing and also irritating because you read the same thing again and again. Another irritating thing is that the text is so drawn-out instead of concise.similar books
