2008-03-14 Excellent reference book
This is perfect for people who want to learn how to draw the human figure. There is no writing, just photos. It's all in black and white so shows shadows and highlights better for shading. There are various sections such as figures on a stool, in motion, pregnant women and so on. There are also a good variety of male and female models. It's not a massive book, but it is in no way small. The pages are perfect for showing full figures and small details.I bought this to use at uni when we didn't have a model in and it's superb. The variety of poses to choose from is excellent and it's really helping me improve. The only problem I have is that guys tend to enjoy peering over my shoulder when I'm drawing the female models...
