2001-11-21 The best horse book I've read in years!

This is one of the best horse books I have ever read. I first read it at the age of 11, five years ago. Even non-horsey mum enjoyed the danger and suspense of the novel, and at 16 I still enjoy taking it out and reading it again. (for the tenth time? I've lost count :) ) All of my friends.. horsey or not, that I've lent it to, have loved it. The characters are so real, you're sure you know them or have met them before. The action is great, and the plot has many unexpected twists. It was a can't-put-down, on-the-edge-of-your-seat type of book! Jeans beloved horse is stolen and used as bait to trap her. From the shocking revalations throughout to the final chapters , where jean and phantom are in a race for their lives, this novel is not one to be passed up, or one to be forgotten.
